After wandering through the markets we decided to have look at some of the boats at the docks for the Australian Wooden Boat Festival. Then we had a great seafood meal at one of the restaurants on the docks.
It was still sprinkling a bit, but that doesn’t stop determined tourists having a wander on the docks.
Here are a few of the docked wooden boats.
The volunteer coast guard was out keeping an eye on things.
Not all of the wooden boats were big. But they can still look good.
This avenue of pavers contains the name of the skipper and yacht for each winner of the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race, a Christmas season institution in Australia.
You can see a Japanese cruise ship from downtown Hobart.
We are awaiting our seafood lunch. Most of us overate, but that is what holidays are for.
Anyway, we could watch the fish mobile while we were waiting.
