We could also drive out to the heads of MacQuarrie Harbour. While we were there we saw a tour boat from the Gordon River Cruises pass back through Devil’s Gate. After a short drive from the heads proper we went on a very short walk through rain forest which came right to the shoreline of the bay. This walk afforded some very nice views.
We had a pretty long walk from where we parked the car which was where a bunch of fishermen had left their wives while they went fishing.
Well, there goes one of the Gordon River cruising cats through Hells Gate.
