Melbourne - Footscray Park

After we arrived in Melbourne in the late afternoon, Myles took us on about a 15 minute walk to the distinctive Footscray Park. It was a very pleasant early 20th century style English park. Additionally, one could see Australia's most famous horse racing venue, Flemington Racecourse (home of the Melbourne Cup), from the park.
